Everyone loves an easy recipe. This baked red and white miso
salmon is so moist and have a nice savory flavor from the mixed fermented miso
paste. This Japanese miso paste is a perfect pairing for fish. It takes only 5
minutes for preparation before popping it into the oven. Serve with steamed
white rice and stir-fried vegetables for a nice meal.
Ingredients:
300gm Salmon Fillet
1tbsp Red Miso
1tbsp White Miso
6 pieces Mable Syrup Bacon , cut into strips
6 stalks Asparagus , thinly slice
8 pieces French Beans , thinly slice
1 Egg Tofu , cut into cube
1 slice chili for garnish
Salt and Pepper for taste
Instructions :
Preheat oven to 180 degree Celsius .
Brush miso paste all over the top of salmon fillet, then wrap with parchment paper and bake for 15 minutes at lowest rack.
Most of the wild salmon is leaner and usually is cooked faster. Baking time is about 10-12 minutes for leaner salmon.
At medium heat, stir fry bacon in a frying pan till fragrance. Add asparagus and French beans, stir-fry till it’s cook. Add egg tofu, lightly toss with the vegetables, sprinkle salt & paper to taste. Cook for 1 minute. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
Once the salmon is done , pour vegetables on top the salmon as a topping.
